You hike through every store in a three mile stretch in search of the perfect hair band, chase the dog around the orbit of your sofa, tour the entire Palladium in your short lunch hour, trample on several hearts a minute, follow the in-house Brad Pitt of your office until you find the perfect moment to accidentally bump into him, stroll to the coffee machine ten times a day, climb the corporate ladder and saunter down the promenade, all in four storied heels. That’s why your feet not only deserve to be kissed, they also deserve to be soaked in aromatic oils and pampered silly.

If you agree, you’ll like Siam very much. Tucked at the very end of Lokhandwala, this little pamper-shop promises ancient Thai therapies to heal your weary feet. And soul. I opted for a sixty-minute foot massage with lemongrass oil (one of the four standard concoctions) for rupees seven fifty. You can choose a premium concoction for an extra rupees hundred. They even offer manicures, pedicures and a range of facials that I didn’t try but just the names (Vanilla Moon, Champagne Glow and so on) were tempting enough.

The chairs are easy to lose yourself in. The staff is polite and well trained. Sure, every time you are about to drift into the clouds, someone opens the door and lets the traffic noise in to crash into your dreams. But the massage is worth it.

But if you are one of those who like to experiment with numerous cuisines and are ready to rock your pallete…this can’t get better. A visual treat for your eyes with innumerable dishes on display. A wide selection of Sushi and Sashimi. And the best part, a wide variety for the vegetarians too.

The ambience is exotic and relaxing. A pagoda and red chinese light shades transport you to the far east. The light reflecting water pond in the middle adds to its charm. The staff is cheerful and prompt. Please take a tour to explore the dishes on display, before you get on with your food. You can choose from multiple soups, sashimi’s, dumplings, tempura, fritters, salad and spring rolls. Made to order stir fried starters, sticky rice and many more. While most of the items are self service, some of them will be made fresh and brought to your table. The main course served in the adjoining section is another delectable affair with Thai curry, rice, noodles and other meat, sea food items. The Dessert corner is a variety of unlimited cakes and pastries with unlimited Baskin Robbins Ice Cream corner.

The buffet prices are mentioned above the reservation desk. The weekday lunch is priced lowest at Rs. 570/-, followed by the Mon-Thu dinner at Rs. 720/- and Fri Dinner + Weekends raking it in at Rs. 850/-, all exclusive of taxes(subject to change in future). This includes unlimited mineral water, iced tea and soft drinks while liquor can be ordered separately. Though the price may sound on the higher side but once you start tasting a variety of unlimited food and desserts it comes about the same as ordering multiple dishes in any other restaurant.
